A super entry DCC was Chanikos to Catch a Dream. RDCC was Weatsom Pole Position. BCC and BOB was Zeeva Zsa Zsa Zoom. RBCC was Debeaux the Gold Digger and BP was Lauramist Angelis. The rain first thing meant that the dog classes had to be judged in the wet weather tent, that was appalling a very small ring. Long grass great holes in the ground totally unsuitable for the dogs were unable to cope with the conditions however the rain stopped we were able to move outside for the bitch classes. A few points need mentioning that are starting to creep into the breed. Eyes are becoming small and oval shaped, they should be large and round but not prominent. A few seem to have only one front leg, ie they were plaiting. Some narrow chests, weak chins, also the breed seems to be getting higher on the leg, we do not want a square Shih Tzu.

1st: MAULE Mrs P M Daltricia Narcissus 11 months old solid dark gold fantastic puppy. He has the most wonderful masculine head. Large dark eyes giving a warm expression, good width of jaw. Well balanced outline and moves so soundly. In good coat and so full of confidence. A real star in the making. BDP.
2nd: HOWARD Miss H L Tameron Mr Addiction 8 months solid pale gold.  Another very sound puppy in fantastic coat for age over very sound body. Correct head, eyes and nose placement with warm expression. Not a lot between these two puppies.

Good width of jaw. Correct length of neck with well set on tail giving balanced outline and moves so correctly both fore and aft. Was pleased to award him the CC.
2nd: YOUNG, Ms L & PARADISE Mr B Weatsom Takes One To Know One At Sonoltay Dark gold/white in fantastic coat with the most wonderful head and expression. Super balanced outline. Moving well. Just felt that winner coped a little better with the awful grass ring conditions, but a truly lovely dog and I am sure his day will come.

2nd: DEVINE, Mrs M & MALONE Mrs D Mirazian Artist Impression Solid pale gold, not a flashy dog but so sound as always from this kennel and a joy to watch on the move. Large masculine head with good width of jaw, eyes of correct size.
