I must than the exhibitors who made it to the
show in such dreadful weather conditions, and congratulate then on presenting
their dogs so well in spite of the rain and lots and lots of mud. I found the
dogs to be varying quality, size and type. Some classes held quality all
through, while other classes were very disappointing. Small oval eyes still seem
to be a problem, as are flat skull and short ribcages. Flat tails spoil the
outline and lose the essence of the Shih Tzu. After saying that I was delighted
with my winners.

1st: HOWARD Miss H L Tameron Mr Addiction 9 months old solid gold
boy with melting expression, lovely dark eyes and good skull shape. Lots of
substance, very good spring of rib, deep chest and nice tail carried well. Lots
of coat very well presented. Moved really well keeping a good topline both
standing and on the move. BPD
2nd: KILBURN Mrs D Superlion Baccara Smaller type, gold white and black.
Lovely expression, super mouth. Nice tail and topline. Moved well

1st: 1298 MURRELL Mrs C A Sweep's Back At Krisquest As the name suggests
a solid black with lovely expression, dark eyes and good nose placement. Strong
neck and good shoulders. Really moved around the ring with strong rear action.
2nd: 1287 MARKS Mrs J S Tansingh Shoot From The Hip Much larger type. Nice skull
shape, lovely eyes and super mouth. Deep chest, good ribs, well carried tail.
Moved well.

1st: EASDON, B & MARTIN, P Messrs Santosha Hi-Jacked For Yakee
Liked this one with his profuse very pale (almost white) coat, beautifully
presented. Lovely head and expression, beautiful dark eyes and good nose
placement. Very good neck and shoulders, well sprung ribs of good length. Kept a
level topline both standing and on the move. Good head to tail balance and
strong rear action really driving. Pushed for the RCC.
2nd: WILLIAMS Mr & Mrs Paliden Shining Star Unlucky to come up against
winner as very close up. Very nice red gold and white boy with beautiful head
and expression. Super outline with lovely head to tail balance. Moved really
well.

good shape. Deep chest and ample ribs. Lovely outline, well balanced, very well
presented brindle and white coat.
2nd: VOSE Mrs M Huxlor Bite the Bullet at Cimona Lovely gold and white
well presented dog with very nice head and expression, good wide jaw with full
dentition. Nice tail and good topline. Not he head to tail balance of winner and
a little higher on the leg. Moved well

well presented (as always from this exhibitor). Gold and white boy with the
loveliest of heads, beautiful melting expression, softest of eyes. Great topline,
good chest and nice head to tail balance. Moved well with lots of drive.
2nd: WRIGHT Mr & Mrs A Superlion Andy Man At Rosejoy Very nice gold and
white dog. Close up to winner. Lovely head, dark full eye, good mouth and
correct nose placement. Good topline and tailset. Moved well.

Lots here to like, really good class, had to split hairs to choose between the
winners.
1st: MERRETT Mr D L & Mrs J M Santosha Salvadore for Venustus This
gold and white beautifully presented dog has a lovely outline. Beautiful head to
tail balance. Very good neck and shoulders. Deep broad chest, well sprung ribs
of a good length. Lovely skull shape, dark eyes, well placed nose, good mouth
all combining to give a lovely expression. Very good mover keeping a level
topline both standing and on the move. RCC.
2nd: LINTERN Mr R W & Mrs S M Hashanah Call Off The Search At Numoon Liked
this boy a lot with his beautiful well presented black and white coat. Lovely
head and very good well balanced outline. Good mouth, dark pigment, lovely nose
placement, soft dark eye, all producing a melting expression. Very good neck and
shoulders. Level topline, tea pot tail all combined to give a very well balanced
and free moving dog.

1st: COOKE Mr & Mrs S Thaisu Amigo Loved this dog as a youngster
and considered him for the RCC the last time I judged. Now he has matured into a
superb dog. He has the most fantastic outline with his beautiful strong neck,
well laid shoulders. Deep broad chest and good well sprung ribs. Dead level
topline. Lovely high tail all topped off with a head to die for. The most
beautiful of expression, lovely dark eyes, great skull shape, wide jaw with full
dentition. Excellent back and white coat superbly presented by this talented
breeder and exhibitor. He moves with great drive keeping his level topline and
superb outline. CC and BOB. His second such award I believe, and I’m sure his
third will follow quickly. Very pleased to see him pulled out in the Group
2nd: GRUGAN Mrs J V A & Mr J Jardhu Like Arte Made Jw Sh.cm Young gold and
white dog. Win his place in a very good class by his fantastic movement which
could only come from his correct structure. Nice head, eye and lovely mouth.
Good deep chest, well sprung ribs and very good outline. All finished off by a
lovely well presented coat

something but outside the ring. Gave her handler a hard time. Really liked her
hence her place in spite of being a little madame. Lovely head to tail balance.
Good topline, strong neck and good front. When she did move really looked a
picture. lovely head and expression. Dark eyes, lovely nose placement and good
mouth.

Strong neck, good tail well carried on the move. Super mover really covered the
ground . Well presented.
2nd: MACDONALD Mrs E Hin Chen's Portrait Of Perfection At Centastage Very nice
black and white. Coat being a little difficult at this present time. Really
loved her beautiful head with its good broad skull shape, lovely dark eye, very
good wide jaw with full dentition. Nice outline with good head to tail balance.
Super mover. Will trouble the best when her coat settles down.

covering the ground.

deep gold well presented coat. Very nice expression, good skull shape, nice dark
well spaced eyes and good mouth. Good outline, chest, topline and tail. Went
very well.

What a joy to judge. Just loved this bitch with her gleaming brindle and white
coat. Beautiful head and fantastic movement. Lovely outline. Good strong neck,
broad deep chest (lacking in many of the exhibits), level topline with well
sprung ribs of good length (also lacking in many exhibit). Terrific drive and
well held tail. Beautiful expression with lovely dark eyes and mouth. Pushed
very hard for the CC (her day will come). RCC.
2nd: BUSHELL Mrs M & Mr A Caserose Super Star JW Very pretty red gold and
white beautifully presented coat as always from this exhibitor. Lovely eyes,
good nose placement, good mouth, neck and front. Very good movement with strong
rear action.

bitch of the larger type is so lovely to go over and fits the standard so well.
Broad head, well spaced dark eyes, nice nose placement and good broad jaw with
the correct dentition. Broad deep chest, well laid shoulders.Good strong neck,
ribs well sprung and of a good length. Lovely head to tail balance. Is a delight
to watch on the move with her strong drive,m level topline, well held tail and
beautifully well groomed coat. Pleased to ward her the CC her second. I’m sure
her third will soon follow.
2nd: GOODWIN Mrs V J Chelhama Leading Light Another oh so lovely red and
white in beautiful superbly presented coat ( as always from this exhibitor).
Smaller type than winner. Very exquisite expression, dark eyes and good mouth.
Liked her neck, topline and very good tea pot tail (one of the few, so may flat
tails!) Moved well.

condition. Really loved the head of this bitch with her dark eyes, lovely nose
placement, wide jaw and broad skull. Well balanced, strong neck, deep chest,
level topline and good tailset. Good movement.

coat well presented. Beautiful head, expression to die for. Lovely eyes, nose
