My thanks to the exhibitors for such a lovely entry at a weekday show. I felt that the quality of the overall entry was very good. Bitches were far stronger than the dogs, particularly in the lower classses. Movement was a cause for concern today allthough the standard of the ring surface did not help, some were very close behind and also tailsets need watching

Minor Puppy Dog 13
Diffficult class to start off with as very mixed in terms of both maturity & quality
1st: : ACE'S CASEROSE MAGIC OF ZORO AT MATSONIC smart b/w dog. Pleasing head & expression, good topline & tail set, well coated for age. Needs to tighten up in movement, particularly in front but is still very young
2nd: : HOWARD'S TAMERON MR HUGO XY solid puppy who, although older, seemed less mature than the winner. Lovely expression with good eyes. Good outline and balance, did not cope as well with the ground as the winner
3rd: : LEON'S SUPERLION MERLOT
Res: : ROCHELYNNE HARMONY
VHC: : ERIBIE WAI KNOT

Puppy Dog 7, 2
1st: : JOHNSON'S KEYTOR FOOL NO MORE very promising puppy. G/w. pleasing head, good eye & plenty of width of jaw. Good shoulders, held his topline on the move. Well bodied for age and has a well set high tail. In good coat & moved well. BPD
2nd: : BOWNS' SYMARAJU TRIGGER A TORNADO AT BISHBOW B/w upstanding puppy who is well turned out & presented, if anything he has too much coat which can make him seem bigger than he is. Similar in style to minor puppy winner who is by the same sire. Well bodied for age & has a good topline. Winner scored in tailset
3rd: : CARWARDINE'S SPARKEYS MAGIC FLUTE
Res: : SHANTRIONNA BLUE CHARM
VHC: : KADAZ MY LORD EARL AT TICKLETUMS
+ SONOLTAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH (Withdrawn)

Junior Dog 5, 1
1st: : LEON'S SUPERLION LEPRECHAUN G/w dog who is a good type. Liked his head & expression, has a good front & moves out well with drive. One of the few who has a good tailset. Sound dog who lacked coat on the day but this will come
2nd: : CROSSLEY'S SANTOSHA PICCOLINO young man who needs to settle in the ring. Less mature than winner in body but is in very good coat & condition. Lovely head & eye, just needs time to mature
3rd: : GOODWIN 'S CHELHAMA GRANDE FINALE
Res: : SURIANNE MIDNIGHT MAGIC

Post Graduate Dog 10, 1
1st: : THATCHER'S BAKALO BUST MY BUTTONS B/w dog who coped best in the class with the ring conditions. Honest dog who is in good coat, pleasing tailset & moved & showed well

Not an easy class to judge, felt the limit class was stronger in depth, some of the dogs here did not like the ground or the wind
1st: : MERRETTT'S SANTOSHA SALVADORE FOR VENUSTUS Noticed him as a youngster, but he has been slow to mature. I feel that he is now at his best. 5 yr old g/w dog who is not overdone in any way. Very honest & I feel he may have been overlooked in favour of more glamorous dogs. he has a very pleasing head & expression, well placed shoulders & good topline. Enough body & good tailset. Moves out soundly & with drive. In very good coat which is well presented. Covered the ground well & pleased to award him the CC which made him up
2nd: : DEVINE'S MIRAZIAN SYMBOL OF FREEDOM JW One who I have liked before. As always with this exhibitor beautifully presented and in full coat. Sound dog who holds himself well on the move. Good head & expression. Moved well but not too happy with the wind
3rd: : FLACK Mrs M'S MIFCAHS CATCH ME IF U CAN JW ShCM
Res: : HARROPINE BONO OF WISEOWLS
VHC: : EASY RIDER AT HUXLOR

Minor Puppy Bitch 15, 2
Some nice puppies who just need to mature & get used to outdoor shows
1st: : YORKE'S MINFAA LETS ROCK N ROLL AT MIDDLETUNE Pleasing g/w puppy who was pressed all the way by her sister. Scored in head & expression, with dark eye. She is well bodied & moves out well with plenty of drive for one so young. Owner should have a lot of fun with her
2nd: : QUICK'S MINFAA JITTERBUG very like her sister above but just preferred the winner's head at this stage. Not much between them, if anything this one is the more mature puppy
3rd: : NEWTON'S SHIHFON PASSING GLANCE
Res: : BAKALO BAMBU
VHC: : RYGAR AUTUMNALE

A really lovely pupp class with several I liked unplaced due to lack of maturity or just not coping with the ring conditions & playing up on the move
1st: : JOHNSON'S KEYTOR MIDNIGHT WHISPER really liked this bitch & she ended up BP over her litter brother. Very smart b/w, reminded me of the b/w line this kennel produced over 20yrs ago. Has a lovely head & expression, well bodied for age and is a well balanced puppy, scored on the move as she moved with confidence & drive
2nd: : STEVENS' PEEKIN ZIRI ZHANG-TU just the opposite when it comes to confidence but the more the class went on the happier she became. Very feminine g/w who needs time to settle to the job. She has a very pretty head, good eyes, nicely balanced with good body for age, nice tailset and when she did settle she moved out well. Just needs more time
3rd: : MAULE'S DALTRICIA ALCESTIS
Res: : SYMARAJU LITTLE MZ PETITE
VHC: : MARHILWAY PLATENIUM

Junior Bitch 7, 2
difficult class to judge as the first 3 were very different to each other but all nice in their own way
1st: : CLIFFORD'S CEDARHYTHE TARTS N TIARAS The winner is immature compared to the second who is a very mature bitch, however fet that I liked the winner's balance better at the present time. At the teenage stage with coat but well presented & handled. Has a good head & expression
2nd: : HOWARD'S SONOMA MISS DIOR AT TAMERON very nice bitch who was close up to the winner. In wonderful coat which was beautifully presented. Moved well but felt the winner just covered the ground more easily. Well bodied with good shoulder placement & rib. Sure she will be made up quickly
3rd: : SHAW'S SHORESTAR INCREDIBLE IZZY
Res: : KADAZ MY LADY CHANTELLE
VHC: : MIFCAH'S THE B IS BACK

2nd: : QUICK'S BELLWAYCHARM STARSTRUCK AT MINFAA JW ShCM beautifully presented bitch as always from this exhibitor. Good head & expression, well placed shoulders and keeps her topline on the move. Just preferred tailset of winner today

Super class, spoilt for choice & there were several who I could happily have awarded a CC to in different circumstances
1st: : MORRIS' TSABTHA SUNNYSIDE UP AT SAZKEY solid gold bitch who has matured steadily over the last few months and I feel is now approaching her best. She has a very typical head & expression with the most expressive eyes. Good front, well bodied & has a goodtailset. In the past she has been her own worst enemy when she has taken a dislike to the ring but today she moved with confidence & drive, never losing her topline on the move. A very well balanced bitch who was well presented in full coat. She was pressed hard in this class but her head & expression won me over. Felt she well deserved the CC and I hope the third one comes along quickly
2nd: : STANGELAND'S WEATSOM SIMPLY GIFTED very pleasing g/w who gave the winner a hard time. She is another very good bitch who should make up quickly. Good head & expression, well placed shoulders & holds herself well on the move. sound and is well bodied & balanced. As always from this kennel very well presented & handled
3rd: : CROSSLEY'S SANTOSHA WILD FLOWER
Res: : SYGAR LOOKING FOR GOLD
VHC: : KEYTOR LOVE IN A MIST

2nd: : BROOKS' CH MARBRUX KELLI'S HIGH JW Champion bitch who is always well presented and handled. she moves well & is a well balanced bitch of good proportions. Good shoulder placement & keeps her topline on the move, just preferred the expression of the winner but a very worthy champion
