It is four years since I last judged the breed & I still found a great variation in quality & size in the breed, & although mouths are much improved. I was concerned about the number of exhibits with rising toplines, several lacked width to chest, & steep shoulders & short upper arms gave a lack of forward reach. Muscletone was poor in many & this again affected movement, so when making my decisions type won out over movement in a lot of cases.

1st: 2422 FARNWORTH Mrs L Tsantha's Happy To See Me lovely head, broad with well placed eyes & good width of muzzle, level topline, good tailset, well angulated rear. Moves well going round but needs to tighten up in movement as he matures
2nd: 2450 MAULE Mrs P M Daltricia Kaikinos good head, large eyes, well pigmented, broad chest, level back, high tailset, good bend of stifle. Moves well but just needs a little more confidence

2nd: 2469 STIRZAKER Mrs D Penerson Surya At Mylurose lovely puppy who shows a lot of promise, super head & expression, correct nose placement & wide jaws, well made body, good bone. Just needs to get his act together & hold his head up going round as he threw the class away

1st: 2432 HITT Mrs T A & Mr M G Miracey She Rides The Waves what a stunner this bitch is, was just what I was looking for even though she is only a baby she had that extra something which was missing in many exhibits, of excellent type & conformation, has the most exquisite head & expression, correct nose placement, broad jaws, well set ears which framed the face to create a beautiful overall picture, strong neck set into good shoulders, correct bone & stands on firm well padded feet, excellent ribcage of correct depth, level topline & high tail set, flowed effortlessly round the ring with great presence & the right hint of arrogance. 2nd: 2411 BROWN Mr S & Mrs S Rossvale She's Xquisite aptly named because she is indeed exquisite & when mature should have a bright future. Lovely head & expression, super shape when stacked, good bone & body. Just needs to co-operate more with handler on the move;
