I was quite disappointed as I didn’t notice much improvement since last time I judged the breed 2 years ago. On the contrary it seems some new faults are creeping in ie narrow fronts. Some dogs I’ve liked in the past were out of coat so it seemed they had lost body & some were carrying too much coat. I am happy the new Standard will penalise overcoated dogs. As usual the quality of the females was higher than the dogs. Overall I think there were quite a few exhibits worthy of becoming champions in the near future.
